Here are some pictures from our recent leadership summit on February 20th.

Small group leaders who have not picked up your Small Group Leader’s Guide please let me know and I will get one to you.

Part of our goal in Small Groups at Calvary is to effectively encourage and support our small group leadership. One of the ways we can do this is through periodic times where we get together and pour into each other as leaders and co-laborers. On February 20th at 6:30pm in the Youth Cafe we will be hosting our next Small Group Leadership Summit for our current small group leaders and coaches. We are excited about what God has been doing in this area and have much to talk about. Here is a small preview of some of the things we will cover.

-21 brand new small groups formed in the last month!
-New leader/coach partnerships
-New materials and resources for small group leaders
-Our updated Small Group Resource Center
-Highlights from current small groups
-New small group service opportunities

This weekend we kicked off 16 new small groups through our Small Group Connection Event, and 3 more new small groups through various ABF classes. Please pray for these new small groups, that good healthy relationships will built quickly and that God will provide the new leaders with the wisdom they need to lead effectively.

Our Small Group Resource Center in the church library is nearing completion. We have over 50 different small group curriculum to choose from and many books on effectively leading small groups. Please feel free to take full advantage of this resource when it is operational.

Our next Small Group Leadership Huddle is scheduled for February 20th in the youth café for all small group leaders and coaches. Please try and make it, as we will be handing out some valuable leadership tools to all our leaders.

How can I get connected through Small Groups at Calvary?

1.  Sign up and come to our Connection event from 7-8 p.m. Saturday, January 16 at the Youth Café.

2.  If God is urging you to take the next step, we are looking for qualified leaders.
